The EABS is pleased to announce that the twelfth annual graduate symposium will take place
at the W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research in Jerusalem, Israel on March
31–April 1, 2020 and will be followed by a two-day post conference tour April 2–3, 2020
which includes guided tours of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea area (including Qumran, Ein
Gedi, and Masada). All graduate students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers are
invited to present on topics in their area of research including: Hebrew Bible, the ancient Near
East, Biblical Archaeology, New Testament, Early Christianity, Rabbinics, Patristics, and any
other relevant cognate areas. Participants may format their presentations according to their
preference: paper, seminar discussion, poster, or another form.
Candidates should submit their abstracts and/or posters of no more than 300 words to
