Biblical Theological Investigations into the Attributes of God

Programme

This project focuses on Biblical Theology. Specific emphasis is given to defining Biblical Theology as hermeneutical discipline, investigating its methodological approaches and exploring how Biblical Theology investigates themes/topics as part of the developing, unfolding or progressive story line of the text. In addition, the specific focus of 2020 is a Biblical Theological investigation into the attributes of God. This section of the Programme investigates how Biblical texts from the First or Second Testament portray the character or character-traits of God. If the project seems viable, the intention is to transform it into a research group that will continue with methodological questions and investigation of different themes that will be identified on a yearly basis.
